A now page is a snapshot, not a CV. This one is accurate on the day it says it is, and almost certainly out of date by the time you read it.
Work
Most of my week goes to a rewrite of Foldwork's build pipeline. It is the least glamorous thing I have worked on in years and easily the most satisfying: every week the feedback loop gets shorter for forty people at once, and you can watch it happen in the graph.
Outside work
Ledger got a proper query language in June and I have been living on it since, which is the only way I have ever found a design flaw before other people do. Quiet Hours is stable and I am refusing to add history to it, politely, once a week.
Reading
Slowly through The Timeless Way of Building for the second time, and finding it much better and much stranger than I remembered. Also a lot of railway history, for no reason I can defend.
Not doing
Conferences, for now. Contract work. Anything that requires me to have an opinion about the future of the industry.
